PETER PAN CABARET

MANY TOURISTS PRESENT A MAORI WELCOME Enjoyable entertainment was provided the Peter Fan Cabaret on Saturday evening in honour of the tourists from Overseas who arrived by the Carinthia. A troup of picturesque Maori entertainers ftppearpd to enjoy performing almost as touch as tho tourists appreciated their graceful poi dances and demonstrations of Maori arts and crafts, while their enthusiastic haka was particularly appreciated by tho visitors. Among those present were:—Mrs. Dunhingham, in honey beige lace and georgette; Mrs. Gordon Jones, black flat Crepe; Mrs. R. Kerridge, white satin ensemble edged with peacock green; Mrs. H!. Ward, black ring velvet; Mrs. A. E. Moore,' white satin beautc; Mrs. A. Neville, midnight blue lace and crcpe de chine;' Miss Mary Milsom, white and'red pinspot muslin; Miss Dot Evans, white 6atin beaute; Miss June Donald, black lace ,with cherry sash; Miss Kathleen Cahill, black and white striped frock; Miss Zcta Saunders, palest primrose pinspot muslin; Miss Helen Seabrook, hyacinth pink floral chiffon; Miss Jeanette Collinson, white liberty silk patterned in rust red; Miss Bunty Randall, nymph greon crcpe de chine and lace; Miss Leslie McDuff, pastel green net; Miss Marjone Bruce maize gold taffeta; Miss Phil Hayson, wine red satin; Miss Rona Warbrick, ivory duchesse satin; Miss Edith Barrett, black lace with diamante relief; Miss Betty Shirley, white frilled net frock; Miss Lilian Smeels, green and black floral lame; Miss Anita Sutherland, flowered ninon in pastel tints; Miss B. Revell, black and white satin; Miss Marjorie Aymes, cherry red satin beaute; Miss Hislop, black faille; Miss Armstrong, black georgette with diamante relief.
