DECREASED EARNINGS j SERIOUS LOSS LAST YEAR j; v f' ' CALCUTTA,' Feb. 14 The depressed: state of trade in India last, year has aggravated the difficulties of the political situation and is reflected in the gross railways earnings, which have decreased by more than £6,538,000, compared with the previous year. The total earnings of all the Indian railways amounted to £74,776,923, of which 60 per ceiit was goods traffic. There were 154 cases of -train wreckings.
