BLADE OF PROPELLER LOST LITTLE DELAY CAUSED When she was one day out from the Australian coast, the Union Compbny's steamer Wairuna, which left Newcastle last Friday in ballast for Auckland, lostone blade of her propeller. At the time the sea was rough, there being a heavy southerly swell, accompanied by a strong southerly wind. Tho blade sheared off close to the. boss. The vessel was not greatly delayed by the mishap, the shaft making a greater number of revolutions without the blade.
