THE QUEEN BUYS CHINA
So delightful was an early morning tea-set m lily of the valley patterned china on a china tray, purchased by the Queen at a sale recently, that another would-be purchaser later in the day was about to take it away. Needless to relate, the second purchaser had no idea that the Queen had been the first in the field. A whole sofa was then set aside for the purchases mada by the Queen at this collection of- antiques.
