POPULARITY OF STAGE SUCCESS OF NOEL COWARD " Some Aspects of London Life " was the subject of an address by Mrs. Hugh Bailey, a New Zealand journalist in England, to members of the League of Penwomen yesterday afternoon. In spile of the advent of the talking pictures the sjtage in London was still doing very wejll, Mrs. Bailey said. Much of the success.; of this was due to Noel Coward, whoae plays hod taken London by storm and '.bad run for several months at a time. TJl le non-stop variety shows were enjoyinjg a vogue in London just now, the shows commencing at 11 in the morning and continuing until 11 at night.
