Feb. 7 A remarkable case is to coine before the Bow Street Folice Court on February 16. The summons concerns Munday Gregory, journalist, and certain influential people, alleged to have been desirous of obtaining honours in the last New Year's list. Gregory is associated with the Whitehall Gazette, a monthly organ devoted to the interests of the higher ranks of the Civil Service. He has played an important part in political and social life of the West End.

Sums amounting to £IOO,OOO are said to be involved.
