Auckland. —There was a continuation of fine weather and light northerly winds yesterday. Conditions were close a.'i-d humid. Tlie skv was cloudy during th«V day and overcast in the evening. The barometer was practically steady at 30.00'ai. Wellington.—The: weather yesterday was warm and mois'i. Light misty rain fen almost continuously from mid-day, with occasional heavier showers. The wind was northerly. Christchurch. —Yesterday was. the hottest day experienced this summer, th° temperature risi ig to 86.7 degrees. The wind was variable, being almost a gala from the south-west late in the day. Thirteen points cf rain fell during Sunday night. The barorieter had little movement until 5 p.m., when it rose. sharply to 29.80 in. Dunedin. —Fin» weather with considerable cloud and a fresh southerly breez prevailed yestercay.
