CANTERBURY COLLEGE POST CHAIR OF MODERN LANGUAGES [BY TELEGRAFU—PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHTCTRCH, Monday The resignation was received by the Canterbury College Board of Governofs today of Professor T. G. R. Blunt, who hai held the chair of modern languages since 1901. Professor Blunt was born at Shrewsbury in 1876. He gained his Master of Arts degree at Oxford and after experience on the ' Continent taught for a number of years at the Merchant Tailors' School, Crosby, Liverpool, and Durham School. Subsequently he. wzs a. lecturer at Durham' University. His next appointment was at Canterbury College in 1901.
