WORLD'S OLDEST JOCKEY

DEATH IN ENGLAND OVER 104 YEARS OF AGE LONDON. Jan. 25 The death has occurred of Mr. John Faulkner, a native of Berkshire, aged 104 the world's oldest jockey. He was twice married and had 32 children. 110 was associated with horses all his life, working from dawn to dark for little pay. Once Mr. Faulkner received threepence for riding a horse into a place at Epsom.

Mr. Faulkner, who lived at Appleford, Berkshire, celebrated his 104 th birthday in July, 1932. lie saw his first Derby 93 years ago. He started riding in 1851 and it was for his first' race he received the fee of threepence.
