SPINNING TOPS

Sir, —Having read an article in your paper recently regarding a factory opening up for the manufacture of clrittlies pegs, may I make a suggestion with gard to spinning :ops. At present it*\is impossible to buy them (tops) locally. Why cannot they be made by some local wood-turning firm, as all that is required is a lathe and a set of chisels? Seeing there are so many ot our lads out of employment, and the turning is so easily learned, why does not some one give employment to boys and start the industry? There is a great demand for tops each year. Last year 1 found it impossible to purchase them for my business. Progressive.
