PONSONBY'S EASY VICTORY Auckland's champion water polo team, Ponsoi.by A, soundly defeated North Shore at the Ponsonby Amateur Swimming Club's carnival in the Tepid Baths last evening. Ponsonby increased a 4 —o lead at half-timo to 7 trials to 1 at the end of the game. W. F. Smith (3). W. Cr. Smith (2). Baper (1) « and Siotter (I) were scorers for the winning team and Magee scored North Shore's only goal. '.Dr. T. H. Pettit was referee.
