FALL FROM CHURCH ROOF
INJURIES TO PAINTER A STRANGE COINCIDENCE [bt telegraph—ows corresponde.v.: : WHANGAEEI, Monday When engaged in painting the Presbyterian Church in Bank Street to-day, Mr. William Tucker, aged slipped on ths steep roof and fell ISft. on to the footpath in Hunt iStreet, landing on his heels. His father, Mr. W. R. Tucker, who is the contractor for the work, found his son considerably shaken and with a broken nose and the muscles of his legs severely strained. A doctor attended the injured man, whe was taken to his home. By a strange coincidence the only other accident. -»hich has occurred on work carried out under tie supervision of Mr. W. R. Tucker during his many years contracting was when he himself fell from the same building 25 years ago when it wa« being painted for the first time.
