FALL FROM TRAMCAR

WOMAN FRACTURES ARM VEHICLE STILL MOVING A fracture of the arm was received by Mrs. Martha E. Burgess, aged 54, of Upper Queen Street, when she alighted from a moving tramcar in Symonds Street last evening. The tramcar was slowing down prior to stopping and Mrs. Burgess, who thought it was stationary, stepped off.

The injured woman was taken to the Auckland Hospital by a St. John ambulance. Her condition is not serious.
