WOMEN'S DIVISION
FARMERS' UNION EXECUTIVE MEETING - At the half-yearly meeting of the Dominion executive of the Women's Division of tho Mew Zealand Farmers' Union, which was held in Timaru, the bush nurse and housekeeper auxiliary's recommendation that all housekeepers employed by the division be insured was carried.
A South Auckland remit passed was to the effect that the division should refuse to employ casual help, including housekeepers who undertook milking and those who did not, or sewing women, unless they were covered by insurance; Mrs. C. C. Jackson was appointed the Dominion's representative on the War Relief Committee in Wellington in connection with sending boys to Flock House.
