HAMILTON REGATTA AN ATTRACTIVE PROGRAMME [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON, Monday Preparations for the Hamilton Regatta to be held at Furry Bank on Anniversary Day, next Monday, are nearing completion. Entries for the rowing events constitute a record, eclipsing even those of last year, when the championships were decided. Tho outstanding- event of this year's carnival will be tho holding of a ladies' rowing race for the first time in the history of a Hamilton regatta. The event will take the form of a pair-oar race over a half-mile course. The Canoe Club is providing" an entertaining programme, which will includo a spectacular parade of 40 canoes paddling in formation.
