COMMUNISTS WARNED
EXPULSION FROM GERMANY EARLY ACTION TO BE TAKEN (Received December 30, 10.45 p.m.) Times Cable LONDON, Dec. 30 The Berlin correspondent of the Times states that the police have warned a large number of non-German Communists to expect early expulsion from Germany owing to their subversive activities, including collecting for funds for the German Communist Party.
The warning accords a more severe altitude toward Communism in Germany than was foreshadowed in Geneial von Schleicher's first speech as Chancellor. The Socialist organ, Vorwaerts, in a protest, declares that the proposed expulsions will not be effective in combating Communism or in raising German prestige abroad..
