GERMAN SHIPS BOUGHT
PURCHASES BY SOVIET BERLIN. Dec. 20 The Soviet has bought 13 old North-Cerman-Lloyd ships, with a total burden of 54,000 tons, on three years' credit. The price is estimated at 1,500,000 marks (£75,000 at par). The Russians are pledged not to compete with German shipping lines anywhere.
