GIFT TO NATION
THE WAITANGI PROPERTY LEGISLATION FOR TRUST [BV TELEGRAPH —SPECIAL 31E PORTER] "WELLINGTON", Monday The Waitangi Trust Bill is among the measures with which the Government proposes to deal finally before Parliament adjourns this week. The bill has not yet been introduced but it is expected to follow the lines indicated in a statement made by the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloo, when Their Excellencies' gift of the Waitangi property to the nation was announced last May. One of the main provisions will be the establishment of a trust board to administer the estate.
