DANCE AT ST. HELIERS
The St. Helicrs Parish Hall presented a gay scene on Thursday evening, when a flannel dance was held by the Tamaki Social and Sporting Club. Streamers arranged from the centre to all sides of the hall formed ,a canopy over the dancers, while the club's monogram found a place at cither end of the hall. The excellent music was provided by Mr. Lindsay's Hawaiian Band, which consisted solely of stringed instruments. Many of the numbers were accompanied by Island songs rendered by tho members. Supper was set out in the supper room by the St. Phillip's Girls Club. Among those present were: —Mrs. C'lapcott, Misses D. St. Clair lnglis, P. Wilcock, N. tiogan, 15. C'ahill, B. Lcith, A.
