PRODUCTJON OF A PLAY
LONDON. Nov. 15 An actor with a guaranteed ,Satanic accent is sought by the British Broadcasting Corporation for a play based on Milton's " Paradise Lost/' The producer is uncertain whether to secure a Mephistophelean bass or a seductive tenor. Mr. Bernard Shaw, as the author of " The Devil's Disciple," thinks that the quality is immaterial.. He says that.,' in the world's present condition, Lucifer would speak like modern diplomats and statesmen. The moral character of the voice would be similar, and Milton's fallen angels would make magnificent speeches, he said.
