BUTCHER'S KNIFE SLIPS

ACCIDENT IN CITY SHOP A butcher, Mr. James Hamilton, aged 43, employed by R. and W. Hellaby, Limited, received a severe cut in his left thigh as the result of a knife slipping while he was working in the firm's shop in Lower Queen Street shortly after noon yesterday. The injured man, who resides in the Strand, Takapuna, was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His condition is not serious.
