DOMINION'S SCENERY
SPLENDID VIEWS FILMED Excellent films depicting some of New Zealand s scenic wonders were screened at a meeting of the "1 ravel Men's League in Milne and Choyce's Reception Hall last evening. Mr. R. Angus presided over a fair attendance, of members and friends. The films, which were prepared and exhibited by Mr. J. W. Clarke, of the Government Tourist Bureau, included some remarkably fine views of the Aratiatia Rapids and Huka Falls, Tong'ariro National Park, Mercury. Bay, Rotorua, the Southern Lakes and scenes on the Milford Track. Incidental music was supplied by a panatrope and items were given by Miss Gwenda Weir and Mr. Allan Pow. In moving a vote of thanks, Mr. A. G. Brown congratulated the league on the series of interesting evenings that had been arranged. He said they were undoubtedly doing much to stimulate appreciation of the Dominion's scenic glories among New Zcalanders themselves.
