The Kartigi left Portland on Tuesday evening for Greymouth to load for Auckland.

The Waimarino is to leave Dunedin next Saturday for Oamaru. Timaru. Lyttelton. Wellington and Auckland. The Wingatui is announced to sail for Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedm and Timaru at ten o'clock this morning.

The Government steamer Matai, which is expected to return from the Haural:i Gulf to-morrow, will berth at Kings Vtharf.

THE KAREPO

The Karepo is due from Greymouth. Westpott and New Plymouth at five o'clock tomorrow morning. She is to be withdrawn for overhaul and survey. After tile work has been completed the vessel is expected to resume running on December 1 and proceed to Greymouth to load for Melbourne. After discharge at Melbourne she will load at Adelaido, Edithburg. Melbourne andl Hobart for Bluff. Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland.

TIIE OTAIO The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-ship Otaio arrived from Liverpool late last night. The vessel has a large cargo of general merchandise from Glasgow. Avonmouth and Liverpool. She will unload a quantity of the cargo at Queen's Wharf and the remainder at Wellington, Jjvttelton. Dunedin, Timaru and New Plymouth.

CANADIAN CRUISER AT MONTREAL The Canadian Cruiser is reported to have reached .Montreal from New Zealand, via Australia, on Monday. She was despatched from Bluff on October 4.

OLIVEBANK FROM JAVA

The Bank Line motor-ship Olivebnnk is scheduled to arrive from Java on Saturday The vessel has a cargo of taw sugar, which will be unloaded at Chelsea.

RARANGA CLEARED MONTEVIDEO

The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Raranga, which left Port Chalmerß on October 21 for London, via Magellanes, Montevideo and Teneriffe, is reported to have cleared Montevideo last Monday.

MAKURA NEARING- SAN FRANCISCO The Royal Mail liner Makura is due at San Francisco to-morrow. The vessel win sail next Wednesday on her return VOVaee to Papeete, Rarotonga, Wellington and &ydney. She ia scheduled to reach Wellington on December 12.

THE R.M.M.S. AORANGI The Union Company advises that the Royal Mail liner Aorangi, which is due at Auckland from Vancouver, Honolulu and Suva on Sunday, November 27. is announced to sail for Sydney at eight o clock the following evening.

THE TYMERIC The Bank Line steamer Tymeric is expected to complete unloading phosphates at Wanganui this evening. Afterwards the vessel will replenish her bunkers at TVestport before she returns to Nauru Island to load another phosphate cargo.

RANGITATA LEAVES LONDON TO-DAY

The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor liner Rangitata is scheduled to sail from London to-day with passengers and mail for New Zealand, and ca.rgo for discharge at Auckland and Wellington, bhe is due at Auckland on December 21.

MONTEREY FROM LOS ANGELES The Oceanic Company's liner Monterey is scheduled to leave San If rancisco to-day and Loa Angeles to-morrow for Auckland. Sydney and Sfelbourne, via Honolulu. Paco Pago and Suva. She is due at Auckland on December 5.

ZEALANDIA AT SYDNEY A Press Association message from Sydney reports the arrival there of the Zealandia at 7.20 p.m. yesterday from Auckland. She is to be docked to-day and will sail at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday for Wellington. THE SCHOONER HUIA The Nobel auxiliary schooner Huia is expected from Melbourne, via Greymouth and Dunedin, to-day. After unloading the remainder of her explosives at Maraetai, she will come into port and berth to refuel and take in stores. Later she -will load explosives at this port for Melbourne and explosives at Melbourne for Fremantle.

THE TASMANIA The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tasmania is now due at New Plymouth from Australia, next Sunday to commence loading in New Zealand for England. Her loading ports are New Plymouth. Wellington, Napier and Auckland. She is scheduled to clear Auckland for London, via Montevideo and Las Palmas, on December G.

WAIHEMO AND WAIKAWA The Union Company's transpacific steamer Waihemo was to clear Los Angeles yesterday for Papeete, Auckland, Napier. "Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin. Melbourne and Sydney. She is now due at Auckland on December 11. . The Waikawa was to leave Fiji for Vancouver last Saturday. She will load at Vancouver for Sydney and Melbourne.

MORINDA DUE TO-MORROW Wireless advice from the Burns-Philp steamer Morinda states that she will arrive from Sydney, via Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island, at seven o'clock to-morrow morning. She will berth at Queen's Wharf to land nine passengers and 948 cases of fruit from Norfolk Island. She is to sail for Sydney, via Norfolk Island and New Hebrides, at "ive o'clock to-morrow evening.

THE RANGITIKI The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitiki was to leave Tokomaru Bay for Auckland at 11 o'clock last night. The vessel is expected to arrive this evening and she will _ berth at Central Wharf to continue loading. Early next week she will sail for Napier to complete her cargo, and she is scheduled to clear Napier for London, via Panama, on November 25.

THE MELBOURNE MAR 17 The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company has received advice that the Japanese motor-ship Melbourne Maru sailed from Moji, Japan, on November 1 and cleared Manila on November 8 for \\ ellington and Auckland, via Australian ports. Slie is due at Brisbane next Saturday. The ndvice states that the vessel is running to schedule and should arrive at Auckland about December 5.

CANADIAN NATIONAL STEAMERS The local office of the Canadian National Steamships has received advice that the Canadian Conqueror is scheduled to clear Montreal for Auckland, Napier, "Wellington. Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin next Saturday She is due at Auckland about January 2 "She wjll be the last steamer to leave Montreal ,for New Zealand this season. She will be followed by the Canadian which is to be despatched from Halifax on December 23. and the Canadian Scottish which is to sail on January 20.

TO LOAD SCRAP METAL Heather. Roberton. Limited, have received ndvice that, the Japanese steamer Shinnoli Maru is scheduled to arrive nt Lyttelton on December 17 to load scrap metal for Japan. The vessel will complete loading at Auckland, where she vnll load about -1000 tons of scrap metal. She is expected to reach Auckland about January 24. The Shinnoli Mnru is a British-built vessel, of 48SS tons, having been constructed nt New-ca.Mle-on-Tyne in 1912. Her first name was Birmn. which was afterwards changed to Birma Mem and later to her present name.

THE MATAROA The Shaw. Savill and Albion liner Mataroa is due from Wellington at 6.30 o'clock iliis niorninjr. She will berth at Queen s "Wharf to complete unloading cargo from London to the agency of L. D. Nathan, Limited. The vessel is to sail for "Wellington next Monday to commence loading for her homeward voyage. She ■will complete londine nt Gisborne and Auckland, sailing finally from this port for London, via Panama, on December 14.
