COTTON STRIKE ENDS
MILLS OPEN AGAIN TO-DAY WORKERS' BALLOT RESULT (Received November 6, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 5 The cotton strike has ended, the ballot having failed to yield the necessary twothirds majority. The spinners voted 20,252 in favour of the strike and 13,553 against it. Ihe card room workers voted 28,148 for and 14,850 against the strike. The mills will be reopened on Monday at the lower rate of wages.
