HUNTLY ROSE SHOW

[from our own correspondent] HUNTLY, Saturday A very successful rose exhibition was held on Friday afternoon and evening in the Town Hall lodge room, under the auspices of tho Huntly Horticultural and Beautifying Society. Many beautiful blooms were displayed and tho entries were most satisfactory. The silver rose bowl donated by Mr. W. Lee Martin was won by Mr. H. Bennett, of Te Kowhai, for the second year in succession, while Miss E. Fairhurst was the winner of a trophy. Mr. K. S. Caldwell exhibited tho champion bloom, "Frau Karl Druschki.-
