A ROYAL CHRISTENING

One of London's most notable babies was christened recently at St. Mary Abbot's, Kensington. She was the daughter of Lady May <wd Captain Abel Smith and the grand-daugh-ter of Princess Alice and the Earl of Athlone. One of tho baby's presents included a pearl necklace from the Queen. After the ceremony a christening tea' was held at Kensington Palace, when a special cake was cut in honour of the event.
