PETITION FOR DIVORCE
COMMENCEMENT OF HEARING A petition for divorce was made by a boatinaker, Frederick Holmes (Mr. Singer), before Mr. Justice Smith in the Supremo Court yesterday. The action, which was before a jury, was defended by Francis May Holmes, respondent (Mr. Allan Moody), and C. William Home, co-respondent (Mr. Meredith). In opening the caso, Mr. Singer said it was suggested that tho co-respondent and Mrs. Holmes had lived together. Home was a seaman. An adjournment was ma,do until this morning.
