ROAD AT MISSION BAY
arrangements for paving CITY COUNCIL'S INTENTIONS Financial arrangements are being made by the City Council for the paving o£ Bice Esplanade, Mission Bay, the only section of the wateriront road that has not been lai-J down in permanent material. No provision for the work was made in the original scheme, but savings have been made on other portions of the road, and the council expects to get authority for diverting these> funds to the purpose in time to enable tie work to .be completed this summer. It is probable that the paving will be in concrete. It is proposed to lako a small portion of the Selwyn Domain, opposite Avenue, into the roadway for a motoromnibus station. ThLi will be more than compensated for by additions which the council has made to the park by filling in areas at both onds o? the bay*
