TWO BUTTER-FAT TESTS The gold medal given by (lie South Australian Government for champion dairy cow of any breed, to be judged on official butter-fat production, has been won' by Mr. C. E. Verco's Jersey, " JSlolvin Duchess." On her last lactation period she put up the State Jersey record for a senior three-year-old of 554.901b. of butter-fat in 273 days. Her record at tlie Adelaide Royal Show is excellent. As a three-year-old, in milk, she was first in her class and reserve champion cow. As a four-year-old dry she was placed first and awarded the champion ribbon. The gold medal given by the South Australian Government for a bull of any breed, judged on the official butter-fat production of the dam, competition be.tig restricted to champion in each breed, was also won by a Jersey, owned bv Mrs. M. I. Neumann " Delma Butter King."
