ALLEGED FRAUD
DOLE TRANSACTIONS NEWFOUNDLAND POLITICIAN (Received October 30, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 29 A message from St. Johns, Newfoundland, states that Roland Starkes, Opposition member of the Legislature for White Bay, has been arrested on 17 charges of alleged fraud in connection with tho distribution of relief to tho unemployed. The polico allege that Starkes fraudulently signed dole receipts during a period of several months. He has been released on bail.
