TWO MEN HURT

COLLISION OF VEHICLES OTHER OCCUPANTS ESCAPE In a collision between a motor-car and a light motor-van at the corner of Hepburn Street and Wellington Street on Saturday morning, a passenger in the car, Mr. Stephen Hunter, aged 60, of 9 Havelock Street, City, received a fracture of an arm, and the driver of the van, Mr. Frank Hylton, of Formby Road, Point Chevalier, suffered minor injuries. Although both vehicles were overturned by the force of the collision, the four other occupants of the car, including the driver, Mr. J. Somerville, were uninjured. Mr. Hunter was taken by a St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital and admitted, but Mr. Hylton was able to return home after treatment.
