Public notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Henderson Town Board held on Tuesday, the 18th day of October, 1932, the following Resolution was passed, and that the said Resolution will bo submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at the Ordinary Meeting of the Board to be held in the Town Board Office, Thomas Street, Henderson, on TUESDAY, the 15th day of November, 1932. at 7.25 p.m., viz:— "That in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it by Jhe provisions of Sub-section 3 of Section 135 of the Public Works Act, 1928, and Section 17 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Henderson Town Board doth hereby resolve, by Special Resolution intended to operate as a Special Order, as follows _ _ 1. "That the Henderson Town Board hereby authorises the raising of a Special Loan of not exceeding One Thousand Pounds (£1000), to be known as the Henderson Town Board Bridge Loan, 1932, for the purpose of meeting the proportions of cost payable towards the construction of the new Oratisi Stream Bridge in the Henderson Town District, and the new Wbau Creek Bridge in the Borough of New Lynn, both being on the Auckland-Helcnsville Main Highway. 2. That the Board make applicatibn to the Governor-General in Council for his consent to the raising of the loan and on such terms and at such rate of interest as the Board considers advisable. 8. That the provision for the repayment of such loan be by means of a sinking fund in accordance with the currency of the loan. 4. That the security for the said loan \ for payment of interest sinking fund and other charges be a Special Rate on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Henderson Town District. 6.
