JUSTICES OF THE PEACE

ELECTION OF OFFICERS The annual meeting of the Auckland Justices of the Peace Association was held last evening, the president, Mr. S. ,T. Marks, presiding. The following officers were elected:—President, Mr. A. Rosser; vice-presidents, Messrs- M. Guthrie, J. W. Bissett and G. E. McGee; registrar and treasurer, MrJ C. Wheeler; auditor, Mr. C. E. Phillips; executive, Messrs. D. Donaldson. A. J. Stratford. \ . A. Coyle, J. B. raterson, Mrs. Dreaver and Miss A. Basten. Delegates to the federal conference which is to be held in Invercargill in March are Messrs. Rosser, Wheeler and Donaldson.
