TYNDALE'S VERSION It is announced in the July number of the Nightingale Fellowship Journal, published iby St. Thomas' Hospital, London, that the hospital at one time had its own printing press, and that on this, in 1537, the first Bible in English was printed. This was Tyndale's version, which was very largely drawn upon by those who, in 1611, produced the Authorised Version.
