DANCE AT PIRATE SHIP

A dance in honour of Mrs. A. K. MoFarlano, winner of the senior championship of the. Pupuke Ladies' Golf Club, was | given at (lie Pirate Ship at Milford last evening. Several items were rendered and Bartley's Pirate Ship Orchestra played the dance music. Among those present were:—Mrs. A. K. Williamson, black crepe de chine;' Mrs. Ben. Goldwater, green and silver taffeta; Mrs. J. A. Howie, black georgette; Mrs. Rennie, white lace; Mrs. Cutlibert, black lace frock; Mrs. George Walker, white flow- - ered chiffon; Mrs. Foote, blue and silver georgette; Mrs. T. Mowbray, floral ninon; Mrs. 11. L. Bowden, cherry georgette; Mrs. Norman Howe, poppy red georgette; Mrs. D. M. Davidson, black triple ninon; Miss Gooding, black ring velvet ; Miss E.
