According to a paragraph in Popular Mechanics, some fish can travel faster than an express train. It is estimated that the Mackerel frequently attains a 60 or 70-mile-an-hour pace. Considering its handicap in size, the mackerel is regarded as the champion racer, since it is known that the bigger the fish, the greater the speed, other things being equal.
