FLIGHT FROM GLACIER
ACROSS SOUTHERN ALPS FRANZ JOSEF TO CANTERBURY [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WAIHO GOKGE, Monday Arrangements have been made by Mr* P. Sheeran, of Waiho Gorge,, with Mr. A. Nancekivell as pilot, _ to make th« first passenger flight from the Franz Josef Glacier, South Westland, to the Wigram Aerodrome, Ghristchurch, using the Hokitika Aero Club's Spartan aeroplane. Weather permitting, the aeroplane will leave the Franz Josef Glacier at 9 o'clock to-morrow morning, following the usual coastal route to Hokitika and thence across the Alps by Arthur's Pass to Canterbury. . i
