YESTERDAY'S WEATHER
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH Auckland.—There was a continuation of fine weather and overcast conditions yesterday, the wind being again light from the west. The barometer was practically steady, the reading last night being 30.40 in. Wellington.—The weather yesterday was again fine, but overcast. The wind was from the norlh. Christchurch.—The' morning was showery, but the afternoon was fine, with an overcast sky. The wind was light from the north-east and the maximum temperature was 53 degrees. The barometer hart an upward tendency and recorded 30.22 in. in the evening. Dunedin. —Ideal weather prevailed yesterday, the sun shining fro.m a cloudless sky. "A light north-east breeze was blowing. The barometer was rising and sregi* ( tered 30.30 in. in the 4 evening.
