STORMS AT SEA
DELAYS TO SHIPPING NIAGARA ARRIVING LATE VERONICA IN* ROUGH WEATHER - Strong southerly weather is being experienced at sea and is delaying shipping. The Royal Mail liner Niagara was due at Auckland from Vancouver at noon to-day with passengers, mail and cargo, but owing to the weather she will not arrive until'l.3o this afternoon, according to her wireless advice. 11.M.5. Veronica was scheduled to arrive from Fiji to-day, bub according to her wireless advice she was 1500 miles from Auckland yesterday morning and was being delayed by rough weather. Her arrival is not expected until to-morrow. She is returning from a two months' cruise to the South Sea Islands.
The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Maimoa was expected from London, via Sydney, to-morrow morning. She is also being delayed by stormy conditions and expects to arrive at eight o'clock to-mor-row evening.
