SASHES AND SHADES
. Some of the new chiffon evening frocks are enhanced by satin sashes lined with contrasting plain or printed chiffon. Despite the strong blue offensive, browns hold their own in tho new fashions, plum brown, negree and cocoa being most seen. Turf green also resists the advance of lighter yellow-greens. Fink and purple form a sinking evening colour combination sponsored by some leading bouses at Home.
