A STAFF DANCE
A very enjoyable evening was spent, in the inter-house girls' clnbrooms, Chancery Street, on Wednesday, when the staff of George Ashley's, Ltd., held their annual dance. The lounge was tastefully decorated with bowls of golden daffodils and poppies, while the supper tables were graced with blue and gold flowers, the firm's colours. Excellent music was supplied by D. O'Mallev's band. The members of the committee present were:— Miss A. Maiden, in daffodil georgette; Miss D. Aiscott, flame lace and tulle; Miss N. Connollv, peach and apple green organdie; Miss E. Cook, primrose taffeta; Miss J. Willoughbv, black crepe' de chine and lace; Miss U. Sage, peach frilled satin; Mis*. K. McKenna, pink georgette. Among those present were:—Mrs. Slavim, in white lace; Mrs. Godbold, black lace and georgette; Mrs. Chalmers, floral georgette; Miss M. Smith, white, s satin; Miss C. Melville, floral georgette; Miss N Crisp, black lace: Miss M. Cook, apricot georgette; Miss W. O'Connor, tea-rose taffeta; Miss E. Chalmers, white frilled net; Miss H. Francis, white floral taffeta; Miss Jov Chapman, midnight blue tmnne velvet; Miss K. Fletcher, coral pink satin; Miss C. Maiden (Tuakan), midnight blue satin; Miss M. Gill, electric green satin; Miss M. Sage, white satin beaute; Miss G. Spratt, scarlet frilled satin; Miss M. Hosking, pink taffeta; Miss B. Imeson, black velvet: Miss E. Hockey, pink satin; Miss M. Smith, apple green georgette; Miss E. Bennett, pink georgette and lace; Miss Warings, apple green georgette; .Miss A Neil, pink taffeta; Miss F. Henry, flame satin; Miss T.
