WINS FOR AUCKLAND TEAM
A. sport which has gained much in popular apical during tho last few years is hockey on skates. Tho Auckland hockey on skates |eam, organised by Mesftrs. H. and Ji. Roushworth, has a record that it/may well be proud of, Last year .it toured tho North Island and won every piatcli in which it took part. ,j. The team is at present on tour and has bo far retained its unbeaten record. To Kiriti was played on Monday, the Auckland players winning "by a margin of 11 points, Wellington was beaten by 2—l on Wednesday. A match with New Plymouth was arranged for last evening.
