TRAMWAY DISPUTES

AUCKLAND NEGOTIATIONS MEETING TO BE HELD TO-DAY The dispute between the Auckland Transport Board and the Auckland Tramways and Omnibus Drivers' Union is to be considered by a conciliation council which will sit at the Customs. Building to-day. The meeting, which will be presided over by Mr. P. Hally, Conciliation Commissioner, will commence at 10.50 o'clock, and its purpose will be to consider a proposed alteration in the existing agreement. The assessors for the board will bo the chairman, Mr. J. A. C. A Hum, and Messrs. T. Bloodworth, W. H. Nagle and G. Grey Campbell. The general manager, Mr. A. E. Ford, will also bo in attendance.
