TRAMWAY DISPUTES
AUCKLAND NEGOTIATIONS MEETING TO BE HELD TO-DAY The dispute between the Auckland Transport Board and the Auckland Tramways and Omnibus Drivers' Union is to be considered by a conciliation council which will sit at the Customs. Building to-day. The meeting, which will be presided over by Mr. P. Hally, Conciliation Commissioner, will commence at 10.50 o'clock, and its purpose will be to consider a proposed alteration in the existing agreement. The assessors for the board will bo the chairman, Mr. J. A. C. A Hum, and Messrs. T. Bloodworth, W. H. Nagle and G. Grey Campbell. The general manager, Mr. A. E. Ford, will also bo in attendance. WELLINGTON EMPLOYEES SUCCESSFUL CONCILIATION [BY TELEGRAPH —PHESS ASSOCIATION - ] "WELLINGTON, Thursday Complete agreement 'ivas reached yesterday by the Conciliation Council between the Wellington Tramway Department and the tramway employees. As the details have yet to be forwarded to the Conciliation Commissioner, who is out of Wellington, the terms are not yet announced.
