GIFT AFTERNOON
Mrs. H. S. Symonds and Mrs. L. Graham Robinson were hostesses at a most enjoyable gift afternoon, held at the residence of Mrs. Symonds, of Lake Road, Takapuna, yesterday. There were 25 guests present, including Rev. R. H. Trill and Mrs. Trill. There was a wide collection of articles brought, which will be kept for the Old English cottage stall at tho forthcoming bazaar, to bo held in connection with St. Peter's Anglican Church. Competitions were played during the afternoon, and these were won by Mrs. Morris, Mrs. Freakes and Mrs. J. Thompson. Afternoon tea was served later and the gifts were opened by Mrs Symonds.
