Indications are for north- fl; erly and freshening winds, becoming strong to gale force to-morrow in Cook and Foveaux Straits. Seas smooth to moderate, but rising later on the west coast and in Cook and Foveaux Straits. In the eastern Tasrnan Sea, strong northerly winds and >f ; - rough seas. The weather wiil be fine at first in most districts, but wit|h increasing cloud later, rain developing in western and northern districts, and becoming fairly |§i general during the next day or two.
