CANADIAN AGTRESS DYING MISS TANGUAY'S ILLNESS LOS ANGELES, Aug. 28 Miss Eva Tanguay, a famous vaudeville artiste, is dying at Los Angeles from heart trouble. She accumulated a fortune of £500,000, but to-day is almost penniless.
Miss Eva Tanguay, actress and vocalist, is the daughter - of the late Dr. Octave Tanguay, and • is. of French Canadian origin. She was born at Wolfe, Quebec, in 1878. Educated in the United States she went on the stage at the early age of 10 and was a " star " five years later. At one time she was the largest salaried woman on the American stage.
