FOUR BICYCLES STOLEN

INTERCHANGE OF PARTS YOUNG MAORI IMPRISONED Four charges of stealing bicycles were mado in the Onehunga Police Court yesterday, before Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., against a young Maori, Claud Wikiwana. He ploaded guilty. Sergeant S. A. Brown said that accused stole a bicycle from the football ground, Te Papapa, and a few days afterwards he detached a wheel, lamp and generator from another machine and placed them on one he had stolen at Kuineu. He stole two other bicycles at Onehunga and the parts had been interchanged. The magistrate said accused had eight previous convictions. He was sentenced to six months' imprisonment and two years' reformative treatment.
