BRISBANE TO SYDNEY
j LIGHT CAR'S RECORD TRIP I . SYDNEY, Aug. 10 A light car record was established betweon Brisbane and Sydney yesterday, the distance of 658 miles being covered at an average rate of miles an hour in 15 hours 32 minutes. This beat tho Train time by 8i hours and the previous light car record by seven hours. Tho drivers were Messrs. Arthur Beasloy and Fred Connagh. They left Brisbane at 3 a.m. and reached Sydney at 6.32 p.m.
