ATTACK ON THE RECORD MRS. BRUCE'S THIRD ATTEMPT (Itceoived August 10, 11.55 p.m.) LONDON. Aug. 10 The Hon. Mrs. Victor Bruce yesterday began her third attempt to beat the world's refuelling endurance flight record. The flying conditions are good but Mrs. Bruce's wireless messages cannot be heard. Her husband assisted to refuel her machine from a tanker aeroplane and at dawn to-day he ascended again and delivered a hot breakfast, a newspaper and some milk to his wife and her companions, Flight-Sergeant McCleary and Mr. Tugh.
