SURPRISE FOR HOUSEHOLDER A resident of Redcliffs Spur who went out early on a recent morning in the snow to get his newspaper found something else on his front lawn—a two-seater coupe car, lying on its side, says a Christchurch newspaper. The house is hs'low the le\el of the road and the car had smashed through the fence above, forcing down shrubs in its passage, and finally coming to rest on its side. llow it got there is the mystery, for it was empty when the resident examined it and there appeared to be no signs of anyone having been injured. The car was not damaged, and tip on the road there were no signs of skid marks or any accident.
